Assessing corporate sustainability (From insight to Action)

As part of the lead-up to the festival, Sustainable Goals Tanzania contracted SGA STANFORD GROUP to conduct a landmark environmental compliance assessment covering 90 of Tanzania’s top-performing companies across nine strategic sectors: Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Transportation, NGOs, Banking & Financial institutions, Solar & Power, Mining, Telecommunications, and Industry.

This comprehensive initiative evaluates companies’ environmental and social footprints through a hybrid methodology involving field assessments, ESG benchmarking, policy audits, and stakeholder interviews. Our aim is to highlight innovation, promote transparency, and support Tanzania’s development goals by recognizing businesses that lead in sustainability.
